The mission of the research program of the UConn Forest is to provide space and support for short- to long-term research projects and experiments focused on a broad range of topics including forest ecology and management, entomology, wildlife ecology and management, recreation and human dimensions of natural resources, geology and geomorphology, stream and wetland ecology, ecotoxicology, and hydrology. We aim to provide space and support to both student and PI led projects. All projects should be discussed with the UConn Forest Committee and those requiring collection or manipulation need to be cleared with the committee and will be considered on a case by case basis.
